OpenAI, Midjourney, Anthropic and others have all released powerful Generative AI tools that represent a major stride in human collaboration with technology. But with this awesome creative potential also comes possible peril.

Since IDEO is in the business of imagining and realizing possible futures, I helped them create a framework for using Generative AI. Its purpose is to guide clients, IDEO employees and the public- at-large in making ethical choices that still encourage full creative expression.
